1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to referry. By accessing or using our website at referry.io ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

referry is a job aggregation platform that:

  • Aggregates high-paying job listings from third-party hiring platforms
  • Translates job descriptions into 32 languages to improve accessibility
  • Provides personalized email alerts based on your skill preferences and job interests
  • Redirects you to original job platforms through referral links when you apply

3. User Accounts and Registration

You do not need to create an account to browse jobs on our Platform. However, if you choose to subscribe to email alerts, you must provide a valid email address.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when subscribing
  • Update your subscription preferences if your interests change
  • Not use someone else's email address without permission
  • Not create multiple subscriptions to spam our system

4. Use of the Platform

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use our Platform to:

  • Browse and search for job opportunities
  • Subscribe to email alerts for job postings that match your interests
  • Click on job listings to view details and apply on the original platform
  • Share job listings with others (e.g., via social media or email)

4.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Scrape, copy, or download large amounts of data from our Platform for commercial purposes
  • Use automated bots or scripts to access our Platform without permission
  • Attempt to bypass our referral links or tracking mechanisms
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of our Platform
  • Use our Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

5. Referral Links and Commissions

Our business model is based on referral commissions. When you click "Apply" on a job listing, you are redirected to the original hiring platform through a unique referral link. If you apply and are successfully hired through that link, the hiring platform pays us a referral commission.

Important clarifications:

  • You are NOT charged: referry is 100% free for job seekers. The referral commission is paid by the hiring platform, not deducted from your salary or compensation.
  • Your application is not affected: Using our referral link does not negatively impact your application. Employers evaluate candidates based on qualifications, not referral source.
  • Supporting our service: By using our referral links, you help us sustain our free service. If you apply directly on the platform's website instead, we won't receive the commission, but your application remains unchanged.

6. Third-Party Platforms

referry aggregates job listings from third-party hiring platforms (e.g., Mercor, Arc.dev, Turing). We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or availability of job listings
  • The hiring practices, interview processes, or employment decisions of third-party platforms or employers
  • The content, privacy policies, or terms of service of third-party platforms
  • Any disputes between you and third-party platforms or employers

Once you leave our Platform and enter a third-party platform, their terms and policies apply. We encourage you to review their terms before applying.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and translations, is the property of referry or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission. Job listings aggregated from third-party platforms remain the property of those platforms and their respective employers.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of job listings
  • The availability of our Platform without interruptions or errors
  • The suitability of any job opportunities for your specific needs
  • That you will successfully obtain employment through our Platform

We do not guarantee that job listings are current, accurate, or still available. Employers may fill positions, remove listings, or change requirements at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REFERRY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use our Platform
  • Any conduct or content of third-party platforms or employers
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any other matter related to our Platform

In no event shall referry's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us in the past twelve months, or $100, whichever is greater. (Note: Since our service is free, this effectively limits our liability to $100.)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless referry, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your use of our Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party, including third-party platforms or employers

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Prolonged inactivity

You may stop using our Platform at any time. You can unsubscribe from email alerts by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any email or by contacting us.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which referry operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration body, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and referry regarding your use of our Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
